For as long as I can recall, animals have been drawn to me, and I to them. I spent much of my childhood running the paddocks of my Nonna’s farm with the cows, farm cats, and cattle dogs.

At home on our small property, we were surrounded by and interacted with wild baby birds, frogs, spiders, snakes and the occasional baby possum. I’ve been breeding dogs for over 4 years and recently got a cat, Nova, who I adore. As a young child I loved catching bugs and butterflies and studying them and their behaviour.

I enjoy swimming in the natural billabongs at the farm and observing the wildlife including foxes, eagles and hares. I love knowing that I am making a difference to a creature’s life by helping out in any way I can. In the future I hope to travel and aid the survival of endangered animals in the wild.
