Veterinary Nurse

Working with animals was something I always knew I wanted to do, but I had no clue what exactly I wanted to do. It took me a few years, but I finally realised all I wanted to be was a vet nurse.

I completed my Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019, and immediately put my new found skills to use volunteering at a small vet clinic in the Cook Islands.

I spent a month caring for the local beach dogs, much loved pets, and various wildlife. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that I hope to repeat someday. I have three beautiful cats Harpo, Groucho, and Kohara, who I will talk about for hours at any given chance.

I have always had a keen interest in surgery, as well as emergency medicine, and am hoping to end up working in a emergency clinic one day.”
