Dr Brad McPartland

Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons)

Brad graduated from Sydney University in 1983. He spent his first four years in a small animal practice in Sydney before moving to Hong Kong and working in a small animal practice there. Brad gained experience with various tropical diseases and also learnt Cantonese so he could consult in the local language.

After returning to Australia for the birth of his first child, Brad purchased a small animal practice at Terrigal which he owned as a partner for 27 years. Brad has been to numerous education courses all over the world and it was at one of these that he developed an interest in ultrasound. At Terrigal, he established a small referral practice in veterinary ultrasound.

At Killarney Vale Vet Clinic, we have recently purchased a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine and Brad has been keen to use this wonderful machine to provide diagnostic abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiography). Brad is currently working one day a week (Thursdays) and helps out with some weekend and locum days. He has two cats (Oliver and Company) and a small Maltese cross called Momo, who loves to play with his small grandchildren.
